About Ray
Ray Loke | GDC: 83876 | BDS, MJDF RCS Eng, Dip Imp Dent RCSEd
Ray qualified from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ Dental School in 2004 where he was awarded a merit in clinical dentistry. Since then, he has attended numerous courses that have provided him with a wealth of knowledge and confidence to successfully carry out a wide range of treatments from simple dental repairs to full smile makeovers.
Dr Loke has a real love for his patients and understands the importance of listening and keeping them at ease. Right from the initial consultation and throughout treatment, his friendly, calm and approachable chair side manner makes dentistry effortless. His laughter is instantly recognizable and always welcomed by the team.
Dr Loke has an interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry. He has been awarded a Diploma in Dental Implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Dr Loke is able to provide a wide range of dental implant treatments from extraction socket grafting to full arch teeth replacement. Whilst not at work, Dr Loke enjoys serving at his local church, baking, spoon carving and adventure travelling on his motorcycle!
Shirin Zarafshani

Shirin qualified as a Dental Therapist/Hygienist from Leeds University in 2007 and has since been working as Dental Therapist/Hygienist in NHS and private dental practices.
More dental practices are adding dental therapists to the practice team to handle much of the routine dental work and following recent changes in regulation you can now book in directly with Shirin without visiting a dentist first.
Shirin has a calm, relaxed and friendly approach which will instantly set you at ease. Shirin loves her role within the dental team and is passionate about preventive healthcare. She believes that prevention is better than cure, and enjoys transforming the most anxious patient into a confident, healthy one for life through taking care of their smile.
During her free time, shirin likes to spend time with her family and friends and enjoys gardening.

Preventive dentistry
We aim to empower our patients so they can maintain a healthy mouth and keep their teeth for life. Composite bonding
and veneers
Bonding involves applying a thin layer of composite (similar to the tooth coloured filing material used on back teeth) to your teeth to cover up cracks, stains and other imperfections. Veneers perform the same function, but instead are very thin sheets of laminated porcelain shaped to fit your teeth.
